The Electronic Virtual Library was developed as
an Internet-based library with many leading edge features. It includes a
virtual reference center,
several online tutorials, and an electronic
database center featuring access to several full-text searchable
databases, including journals, magazines, newspaper articles and the Britannica
Encyclopedia Online. The Electronic Databases are restricted to students,
faculty and staff of the Maricopa Community College District. You
may access the Electronic Library from home, from computers available in
the Rio library in Tempe, or from designated computers in the labs at any
of the Rio sites.
Library staff will help you locate information and provide assistance on how to research a topic. Reference assistance is available by telephone, by e-mail, by fax and in person. Faculty may call to schedule in-person library instruction for their classes on an individual basis.
