Congratulations!

You're ready to complete your certificate or degree. If you haven't done so already, please complete your application for graduation. We have provided five simple steps to speed up the graduation process.

The year's graduation theme, "Sustain your Momentum!" recognizes your efforts at Rio Salado College to achieve a college education and further your career goals.

1. Apply for Graduation
   • Apply graduation – download form here
   • Application and payment are accepted in person or by mail at Student Enrollment Services at the Rio Tempe location
   • For questions please call 480-517-8156



2. Pick up Cap and Gown
   • Caps and gowns will be available from Eric Wibbing, Graduation Technician, in Student Enrollment Services at the Rio Tempe location Caps and gowns will be available for student pick up from Eric Wibbing, graduation technician, in Student Enrollment Services at the Rio Tempe location starting April 8, 2008.
   • All caps and gowns must be picked up by Thursday May 7, 2008 @ 4 p.m. at the Rio Tempe location
   • Caps and gowns will not be available at the Orpheum Theater



3. Students Needing Special Accommodations
   • Notify Terry Ferra at 480-517-8562 or by email no later than April 28, 2008
   • Interpreters for the hearing impaired will be on stage during the ceremony



4. Phi Theta Kappa Members
   • To purchase a gold stole and tassel to wear the night of commencement, please order directly from Recognition Services at Phi Theta Kappa International: www.ptk.org.



5. Photographs + Videos
   • Photos of graduates receiving their diploma on stage will be available along with individual and group photographs of graduates and their guests by Freeze Frame Fotography. Proofs of these photographs will be available online after the event.
   • DVDs of the Commencement ceremony will be available for purchase for $15 each. Orders must be prepaid the night of Commencement (cash or check only please...sorry no credit cards accepted). A designated table will be located at the student check-in station before the ceremony and outside during the reception after the ceremony.
