If you have a degree from another state and would like to become certified in Arizona, Rio Salado College has courses that can help you meet Arizona Standard Elementary, Secondary, and Special Education certification requirements.

If you are working toward a teaching certificate you have three years after receiving your certificate to complete the following coursework - except if you are teaching an academic course on history, government, social studies, citizenship, law, or civics, you have one year to fulfill the requirement.

If you hold a current teaching certificate the following coursework can be used toward teaching re-certification.
